Gangs, gambling and Speedos. What does it all mean? Lead Plunge News Network investigative reporter Cat Williams goes straight to the source at Café Hon in Hampden to find out! There she discovers the ruthless “Provocative Ice People” gang who bare it all in the icy waters of the Chesapeake Bay in nothing more than…gasp….a Speedo! This creative plunge team decided to bet each other to raise the fundraising stakes, loser wears the homemade Speedo. This year a few hons from Café Hon are caught helping the gang design a Crochet Speedo, an Elvis Speedo, and the coveted Ravens Speedo. Speaking of Ravens, at this year’s 2010 Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge the Raven’s Quarterback Joe Flacco will be there, so whether you’re in a Speedo or not, come on down to Sandy Point State Park January 30th, for the 14th annual Polar Bear Plunge.
