Donations Update

All donations made to Special Olympics Maryland are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
Donations made by check that are $10 or more will receive an acknowledgement letter for tax purposes.
All donations sent to SOMD before the Plunge will be processed before the event, except those that arrive the Friday before the event or later-these will not appear in your online total until post-event.
Accepting cash and writing a personal check is discouraged- simply hand in cash with donor information at the event.
Only Donors with complete contact info will receive a thank you letter for tax purposes. You may request additional tax reciepts at Registration.

Tailgating

Tailgating at the MSP Polar Bear Plunge is allowed, but tailgaters must follow the rules and regulations as outlined by the Maryland Park Service. Violations of these rules will not be tolerated and flagrant violators will be escorted from the Park. Please remember that while in the park we are guests of the Maryland Park Service, and we ask that you respect these rules and regulations and respect Sandy Point State Park.

Tailgating Rules:

No Glass
No Firewood
No Open Flames
No coals – only propane grills are permitted
No Littering
Please Collect all Trash and Dispose of in Dumpsters
